• Dr Kirsten Gormly (lead)

    Jones Radiology, SA (ARGANZ Executive)

    Dr Kirsten Gormly is a consultant radiologist at Jones Radiology, South Australia and an honorary clinical senior lecturer at The University of Adelaide.  She has special interests in oncology imaging and pelvic MRI including rectal cancer, prostate cancer, female urology and benign and malignant gynaecological conditions.

    Kirsten was trained in rectal MRI by Prof Gina Brown while working at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London in 2002-4 and has contributed to national and international education and research in rectal cancer over 2 decades.  She is past chair of ARGANZ, a Corresponding Fellow of ESGAR, Fellow of the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS), member of the Lower GI working party of the Australasian Gastro-Intestinal Trials Group (AGITG), ESGAR Rectal MRI Guidelines update panel, and joined the SAR anorectal disease focussed panel in 2024.

    Royal Melbourne Hospital, VIC.

    Associate Professor Damien Stella is Director of CT at Royal Melbourne Hospital (Melbourne, Australia) where he has worked as a consultant radiologist since 2001. He trained in radiology at Austin Hospital (Melbourne, Australia), followed by fellowships in MRI (Austin Hospital) and Body Imaging (UCSD Medical Center, San Diego, USA). He has authored 50 publications and two book chapters. His clinical and research interests encompass many aspects of abdominal CT and MR imaging, particularly the liver and small bowel. His non clinical roles include appointments as an Associate Editor for JMIRO and as a regular examiner for the Part 2 RANZCR oral exams.

  • Dr Verity Wood

    Te Whatu Ora Waitaha, Christchurch, NZ  

    Dr Verity Wood is an abdominal radiologist working at Te Whatu Ora Waitaha, Christchurch. 

    In 2018 she completed a fellowship in Body Imaging and Intervention in Vancouver through the University of British Columbia.  

    Verity is a director of training and has recently joined the Te Aho o Te Kahu, Cancer Control Agency MDM advisory group.  She is actively involved in weekly hepatobiliary and colorectal MDMs 

  • Dr Tonya Halliday

    Royal Perth Hospital & Envision Medical Imaging, WA.

    Graduated Glasgow University MB CHB

    MRCP  1994

    West of Scotland Radiology training – FRCR 1999, Fellowship in Body Imaging at RPH 2002/2003, Consultant Abdominal Radiologist 2003 – 2006. Returned to Perth WA in 2006 obtaining FRANZCR 2007

    Tonya now divides her time between RPH and Envision Medical imaging as an Abdominal Radiologist. Her particular interest is in colorectal cancer, upper GI malignancies and prostate MRI. She also have a weekly session working in the State Mortuary reporting post mortem CTs.

  • Dr Teng Han Tan

    Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, VIC (ARGANZ Executive)

    Dr Teng Han Tan is a consultant radiologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. He is the CT Lead Radiologist for the Department of Radiology at Peter Mac, and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology at the University of Melbourne.

  • Dr Katerina Mastrocostas

    Royal North Shore Hospital, NSW

    Dr Katerina Mastrocostas graduated from the University of New South Wales (Hons) in 2007. She completed Radiology training at Concord and RPA Hospitals in Sydney, and attained FRANZCR in February 2015.

    Katerina completed Cross-Sectional Imaging and Abdominal Imaging Fellowships at the University of Toronto, Canada, in 2015-2017. On her return, she worked as a Staff Specialist Radiologist at Concord Hospital. She moved to Royal North Shore Hospital in 2021, where she is currently co-Clinical Director of Radiology.

    Katerina’s areas of clinical interest include Hepatobiliary/Pancreas and advanced Bowel imaging, participating in clinical meetings and MDTs across these areas at RNSH. Her research and professional development interests are in health care efficacy and clinical governance. She is also co-lead of the Film Bank Quiz project for Radiology Across Borders.
