a. Grant recipients are expected to provide a timeline with a defined end-point, and expected completion date.
b. Unless agreed in advance, the project must be completed within two years of the date of Grant approval notice.
c. Grant recipients must notify the ARGANZ committee of any unexpected delays or change in circumstances that may affect successful completion within the timeframe agreed.
d. Grant recipients must notify the ARGANZ committee of any substantial changes to the project, including budget variations.
e. Requests to amend any term or condition must be made in writing to the ARGANZ committee, to be considered on a case by case basis.
f. A brief progress report to the ARGANZ committee is a requirement, at six-monthly intervals, or on request. This should include any preliminary presentations or publications to date.
g. A final report is to be submitted to the ARGANZ committee (including a copy of the published work, where relevant) within 3 months of the agreed completion date, outlining research or education activities already completed (and ongoing), or other outcomes.
h. Presentation at the ARGANZ meeting, within 12 months of completion (or in some circumstances, prior to completion), is a requirement. In most cases, this will be a poster presentation. An oral presentation may be considered, at the discretion of the ARGANZ committee.
i. Research Grant recipients are expected to submit their work for publication.
j. Any manuscript, educational material or other content created by a recipient in relation to a Grant should include an acknowledgement of the funding of the project by an ARGANZ Research and Education Grant.
k. If requested, Grant recipients are expected to provide an update regarding their project and the ARGANZ Grant experience for the ARGANZ website, newsletter or similar.
